Question About Briggs & Stratton Tiller GIL 1545 c
Old rototiller - No Spark...

Very Old 5 hp tiller Mdl. GIL1545C / Serial 47X14458, ran great on 2nd pull. It got wet after my tarp blew off during a storm. I've cleaned the flywheel and armature. The plug is clean. I tried pulling the rope with the plug out and don't see any spark. I set the gap on the armature very close after cleaning and still no spark. any ideas?

0 Points are probably contaminated. Mine were-water drains into them through a poorly located hole covering the points. Remove front cover, flywheel, points cover. parts are $10.50
