0 Greetings, I have Briggs and Stratton 500 series. It is less than 2 months old. It has worked fine with no problems until now. today when I went to start it, it made a loud noise, like metal on metal, and refused to start. It has enough gas and oil no--I think the sound was coming from the engine, not the blade.
