Question About Briggs & Stratton Lawn Mower Model 675

The lawn mower starts within 1-3 pulls of the chord. However once running it initially stays in an idle mode and then eventually pluses back and forth from idle to full power eventually stalling out when I try cutting the grass. Lawn mower was purchased last summer and ran great until this develpped. Any ideas on the problem?
