My new BoschErgoflex IPX4 TYP3600HB1270: the depth...

My new BoschErgoflex IPX4 TYP3600HB1270: the depth of cut lever will not move. Should it be pulled up, pushed down - or sideways,please? It was immediately registered with Bosch. I have tried hard, to no avail. Sincerely, Raymond hardway (raymondhardway@talktalk.net)
