I seem to flood my trimmer each time I try to star...

I seem to flood my trimmer each time I try to start it. I have no manuel. Do I place the switch to the third setting and pull a certain amount then back to the second etc.?

0 HI. I am having a problem with starting my trimmer. I have three settings on the switch. I put it to the third pull it a few times, then switch back to the second and pull it etc. I seem to flood it each time I try . I have no manuel, and would love to know the proper procedure for starting it. thanks
