When a Bolens riding mower model 13AN683G163 WILL NOT PULL IN 1ST OR 2ND GEAR OR PULL UP HILL WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM?

0 I have the same issue with the same mower. I was losing power and speed in any gear. I replaced the smaller of the two belts in the drive system and it fixed the problem for about a week. It ran great. Lots of power. But now it's doing it again. I will replace the other belt to but it seems like it wore out the smaller one already. So I am looking into adjusting some of the pully rods if I can. If not then I will be using hydros from now on and may repurpose that mower or engine. Because I'm not replacing belts every week.
