Question About Bolens Edger 248-600A
Starting problem...

Edger starts after priming but quits soon after. Anyone have an idea? What I think is the carb (the plastice peice over the tank) seems to have free flow to it.

5 Edger was extremely difficult to start until I learned a couple of tricks. Fill the gas tank to full each time before starting. If that doesn't work, lay the edger on its side and press the primer bulb 3 - 5 times. Turn upright and give it a try. It might take a couple of pulls but it usually works for me. I think that the primer is defective.
