Question About Ariens Snow Blower 927le
My 3-year old Ariens 927le apparently has a leakin...

My 3-year old Ariens 927le apparently has a leaking oil seal on the drive shaft for the auger where it enters the gear housing. What is the best way to disassemble only the minimum needed to change the seal, and perhaps the bushing (may be worn or damaged).

0 It turns out that the leak in the auger housing was NOT the shaft seals, but rather a poor sealant with the auger casing halves. Resealing and reassembliong fixed the leak.
