what is the proper spark plug for a Ariens walk be...

what is the proper spark plug for a Ariens walk behind model 911044? Also the engine hunts - slow fast. hard to start . when started I have to pump the bulb to keep it going. I replaced the spark plug wire but not sure if it is making contiunes contact.
