I too am looking for a operator's manual for a Troy Bilt Super Tomahawk Chipper. I have a Model 47267 with electric starter, but the non-starter Model 47266 manual would do just fine as well. They are probably included within the same document anyway. Thanks for any help. Mike

lowes did not have a manual when i purchased mower.I now have a problem that the battery went low and would not start engine it turned over but woulk not start.also the mower locked up in gear but as since released I purchased new battery the mower still does not start the front light does not come on. are there any fuse other than the 20 amp by key switch?

Ok, for lack of finding anything, I went gorilla.... yes, it is Lefty Lucy to remove the blades, be sure you mark them so you put them back right. and if sharpen, don't over do it you'll muss up the balance hope this helps.

I have found that the wheels are hard to remove on the old tillers.What I do is jack the wheel up and use a large C clamp to brake bead on tire than take outside off tire and put a tube in.

This mower ran great then started to suddenly stall out. I let it sit an hour and it starts, runs a while, then stalls out dead. Now I can get it ta run a minute or two, runs great, then just dies...Tried to clean the card, got an hour of run time now dies after a minute or less. Any clues?

I need to replace the oil seals in my Troy Bilt #12060 Tiller. I have pulled the Tine Assemblies off. Two top cover plates are removed. Drive train housing is removed from tiller body. Does the drive shaft need to come out next? And if so how?

What I found in the parts on Troy-Bilt's website was this: MC-6228-202004A SPOOL CARRIER ASSEMBLY (NOT SHOWN) MC-6194-202001 WIRE-CUTTING To purchase, please call toll free 1-800-269-6215 between the hours of 8am-6pm Monday-Friday or 9am-5pm Saturday EST. The only thing is that part number is different, so I'm not sure it's correct, but looks like it in the diagram. And 2nd, it's still just the spool and separate line, so I think we'd still have to wind it, which most people complain they can't figure out how to do. Let me know if you find anything better.
