OK.... These generators are made by Lifan. That is the secret....
Other companys put these stickers on them that change their name. Sometimes it is called Wen or Power Pro. I spent a month searching for "Chicago Electric Generator Parts " And just like you found nothing. I needed a Voltage Regulator and found all the parts for these things at this web site... http://xmcparts.com/voltageregulatorpart35.aspx

Hi - We just need the instruction manual for our generator, (Serial# 97053), model as listed above. We need to replace a missing carburetor as well.... maybe you could guide us in that direction too (?)

ran for 3 hours then no output ?
engine runs fine.
Took to repair shop said they do not know why either.
Is there a way to ck.
