This is a dangerous saw. Is the problem a defective carb and is the company willing to fix the problem? I have heard of numerous problems with this one. Simply Reliable?

Manual Request: Tighten chain on chainsaw

We're having problems tightening the chain on this chainsaw. Supposedly it's supposed to be a "screwdriver only" process (i.e. no need to tighten or loosen the bolts), but the area we think we're supposed to tighten won't MOVE. We can't find the manual and the homelite website has been NO help at all. Anyone have any ideas or a manual for this product? THANKS!!

Warning: Stop the engine before setting the chain tension! Always wear protective gloves when performing maintenance on the chain. 1. Loosen the two bar mounting nuts to "finger tight." 2. Turn the chain tensioning screw clockwise to tension the chain. Note: A cold chain is correctly tensioned when there is no slack on the underside of the guide bar, the chain is snug, and it can be turned by hand without binding. Ensure that the chain brake is not set. 3. Remove all slack from the chain by turning the chain tensioning screw until the chain seats snugly against the bar with the drive links in the bar groove. 4. Lift the tip of the guide bar up to check for sag. 5. Release the tip of the guide bar and turn the tensioning screw 1/2 turn clockwise. Repeat this process until sag does not exist. 6. Hold the tip of the guide bar up and tighten the bar mounting nuts securely. Note: If the chain is too tight, it will not rotate. Loosen the bar nuts slightly and turn the tension adjuster 1/4 turn counter-clockwise. Lift the tip of the guide bar up and retighten the bar nuts securely. Ensure that the chain will rotate without binding

I have two look a like chainsaws, but I cann't find any manual of them.
My Wild cat (Mod nr 60016002)starts well when it is cold but fails on hot start? The seccond one Mac Cat (Mod nr 60016017)has some minor changes but is almost the same. When I look for both Mod nr's I cann't find the operating manual. The only thing I found was a part list and some exploded views.

Hard to start, but can get started.After it warms up, wont stay running,acts like it is starving for fuel,when i press the trigger it dies out.I have replaced the fuel filter,and carb diaphragm gasket kit,cleaned carb and needle valve ect,replaced spark plug and it still does'nt keep running

Saw started and ran fine until yesterday, pulled once, sputtered a little then quit and will not start. chedked plug, it's clean but quite wet, tried to get spark with plug pulled and grounded on chassis, nothing. Suspect ignition module, but wonder if there is any other circuitry that would suppress the spark if it failed, or if there is any other tests I can do to verify that it is the module that's bad. I'm pretty much limited to continuity or voltage checks. would appreciate any help or advice you can give before I spend $35 for new ignition module.
