It is easy to setup and begin using your RadioShack
Weather Forecaster. In less than an hour, your
RadioShack Weather Forecaster will complete its
automatic set-up process.
Slide cover back and insert
two AA batteries.
Or, use an AC adapter (not
included) for power.
The Ambient Information
Network signal strength
indicator will verify your
coverage.
Within 30 minutes, you will see the five-day forecast
for conditions and temperature ranges. The current
temperature will flash.
Note: Your product receives information wirelessly from
the Ambient Information Network, so there is no need to
install a remote thermometer, rain collector, or any
outside instrumentation.
Mounting Your Weather Forecaster
You can mount your
weather forecoaster on a
wall, using the wall mount
bracket, as shown.
The Ambient Information Network
receives forecasts from
AccuWeather.com.
Your RadioShack Weather
Forecaster includes five channels
which show the weather and
forecast for five cities in your
region. Toggle between these five
cities by repeatedly pressing the
button on the bottom of the display.
You may also add a premium channel
to track a *specific ZIP code, custom
location or additional world city by
going to www.myambient.com
or
calling 888-990-0023.
Note: Selection of cities varies based
on your region.

Operation
Each RadioShack Weather Forecaster includes a
90-day free trial for premium service ($19.95 value).
Go to www.myambient.com
and follow the
on-screen directions to receive these features.
ZIP Code accuracy - Add a channel to receive
forecasts for your specific ZIP code. Geographically
specific forecasts are more accurate than regional
forecasts.
Remote weather monitoring - Track forecasts for
any ZIP code in the US, a vacation house, travel
destination, remote family member, etc.
Forecasts for any foreign city in the world.
Custom location readout - Instead of showing a city
on the bottom of your display, you can change it to
read anything you want: the name of your ranch,
Beach house, Cabin, or Grandma’s.
Seasonal temperature scales - With the change of
each season you can change your display to reflect
the expected temperature range for your area. For
example, Cambridge, MA ranges from 30 degrees to
90 degrees in the fall and from -10 to 50 degrees in
the winter (60 degree range).
