CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Read and observe the safety rules.
Follow a regular schedule inmaintaining, caring for and
using your tractor.
Follow the instructionsunder "Customer Responsibili-
ties" and "Storage" sections of this owner's manual.
WARNING: This tractor isequipped with an internalcom-
bustion engine and should not be used on or near any
unimproved forest-covered, brush-covered or grass-cov-
ered land unless the engine's exhaust system isequipped
with a spark arrester meeting applicable localor state laws
(if any). Ifa spark arrester isused, it should be maintained
in effective working order by the operator.
A spark arrester for the muffler is available through your
nearest authorized servicecenter/department (See REPAIR
PARTS section ofthis manual).
In thestate of California the above is required by law(Section
4442 of the California Public Resources Code). Otherstates
may have similar laws. Federal laws apply on federal lands.
