HELPFUL TIP
During storageof your gas/
oil mixture, the oilwill sepa-
rate from the gas.
We recommend that you
shake the gas can weekly
to insureproperblending of
the gas and oil.
ENGINE
S Remove spark plugand pour 1teaspoonof
40:1,2-cycleengine oil (air cooled) through
the spark plug opening. Slowly pull the
starter r ope 8 to 10 times to distribut e oil.
S Replace spark plug w ith newone ofreco m-
mended type and heat range.
S Clean air filter.
S Check entire unit for loose scr ews, nuts,
and bolts. Replace any damaged, br oken,
or worn parts.
S At the beginning of the next season, use
only fresh fuel hav ingtheproper gasolineto
oil ratio.
OTHER
S Do not store gasoline from one season to
another.
S Replace your gasolinecan ifit s tarts torust.
TROUBLE CAUSE REMEDY
Engine w ill not
start.
