Effective March 1, 2005 replaces all undated Warranties and all Warranties dated before March 1, 2005
Briggs & Stratton Power Products Group, LLC will repair or replace, free of charge, any part(s) of the equipment that is defective in material or
workmanship or both. Transportation charges on parts submitted for repair or replacement under th is warranty m ust be borne by purchaser. This
warranty is effective forthe timeperiods andsubj ect tothe conditionsstated below. For warranty service, find the nearestAuthorized ServiceDealer

THERE IS NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY. IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THOSE OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULARPURPOSE,ARE LIMITEDTOONE YEARFROM PURCHASE,OR TOTHE EXTENTPERMITTEDBY LAW ANYAND ALLIMPLIED
WARRANTIES ARE EXCLUDED. LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARE EXCLUDED TO THE EXTENT
EXCLUSION ISPERMITTED BY LAW. Some statesor countries do not allowlimitations on how long animplied warranty lasts, and some statesor

Thewarranty periodbegins onthedate ofpurchase bythefirst retailconsumeror commercialend user,and continuesfor theperiodof timestated inthe
tableabove. “Consumeruse”means personalresidential householduse byaretail consumer.“Commercial use”means allother uses,including usefor
commercial, income producing or rental purposes. Once equipment has experienced commercial use, it shall thereafter be considered as commercial
useforpurposesofthiswarranty.Equipmentusedforprimepowerinplaceofutilityarenotapplicabletothiswarranty.Electricpoweredpressure
washers used for commercial purposes are not warranted.

CHASERECEIPT.IFYOUDONOTPROVIDEPROOFOFTHEINITIALPURCHASEDATEATTHETIMEWARRANTYSERVICEISREQUESTED,THE
MANUFACTURING DATE OF THE PRODUCT WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE THE WARRANTY PERIOD.
IMPORTANT: Manyunits aresold unassembledand cartoned.It isthe responsibility ofthe ownerto ensureassembly isperformed perthe exactinstuc-
tionsasoutlined intheOperating& MaintenanceInstruction.Other unitsarepurchased pre-- assembled.Itis theresponsibilityoftheownertoensu rethe
unitiscorrectly assembled.Theownermust carefullycheck theunitaccordingto theinstructionsin theOperating& MaintenanceInstructions beforeitis
first used.
ABOUT YOUR EQUIPMENT WARRANTY
We welcome warranty repair and apologize to you for being inconvenienced. Any Authorized Service Dealer may perform warranty repairs. Most warranty
repairsarehandledroutinely,butsometimesrequests forwarrantyservice maynot beappropriate.Forexample,warranty servicewouldnotapply ifequipment
damageoccurredbecauseofmisuse,lackofroutinemaintenance,shipping,handling,warehousingorimproperinstallation.Similarly,thewarrantyisvoidifthe
manufacturing date or theserial numberon the equipment has been removed or the equipment has been alteredor modified. During the warranty period, the
Authorized Service Dealer, at its option, will repair or replace any part that, upon examination, is found to be defective under normal use and service.This
warranty will not cover the following repairs and equipment:
S Normal Wear: Outdoor Power E quipment, like all mechanical devices, needs periodic parts and service to perform well. This warranty does not cover
repair when normal use has exhausted the life of a part or the equipment.
S Installation and Maintenance: Thiswarranty does not apply to equipment or parts thathave been subjected toimproperor unauthorized installationor
alterationand modification,misuse,negligence, accident,overloading,overspeeding, impropermaintenance,repair ors torage soas,i n ourjudgment,to
adversely affect its performance and reliability. This warranty also does not cover normal maintenance such as adjustments, fuel system cleaning and
obstruction (due to chemical, dirt, carbon, lime, etc.).
S Other Exclusions: This warranty excludes wear items such as quick couplers, oil gauges, belts, o-rings, filters, pump packing, etc., pumps that have
been runwithout water supplied or damageor malfunctions resulting from accidents, abuse, modifications, alterations,or improper servicing orfreezing
or chemical deterioration. Accessory parts such as guns, hoses, wands and nozzles are excluded from the product warranty. This warranty ex-
cludesfailures dueto actsofGod andother forcemajeureevents beyondthe manufacturerscontrol.Also excludedisused, reconditioned,and
demonstration equipment; equipment used for prime power in plac e of utility power and equipment used in life support applications.
