  8.75 series    I found a broken spring under on the grass I had mowed. My mower now makes a loud grinding noise. I'm not sure if the noise is due to a spring not holding a part that is now vibrating on the mower.

  Parts Manual    Looks like muffler welded to exhaust tube on this model (factory weld?) Vibration of mower results in fractures to muffler support bracket to plastic shroud as well as fractures to muffler safety shield in proximity to mounting holes. Looking for exploded view diagram of this model and part numbers …
