followthemcouldcauseanappliancemalfunctionresultinginseriousinjuryand/orpropertydamage.
2. Alwayscheckyourlocalbuildingcodespriortoinstallation.Theinstallationmustcomplywithalllocal,regional,
state and national codes and regulations.
3. NEVERleavechildrenunattendedwhenthereisareburninginthereplace.
4. ThisGasLogSetapplianceisfactorybuilttoburnnaturalorpropanegas.Agasconversionkit(toconvert
fromnaturalgastopropane,orpropanetonaturalgas)isavailablefortheImperialSeries.
5. Theuedampermustbeopenatalltimeswhentheapplianceisinuse.
6. Whileservicingthislogset,alwaysshutoffanyelectricityorgastotheappliance.Thiswillpreventpossible
electricalshockorburns.Also,makesurethereplaceiscompletelycooledbeforeservicing.
7. Solidfuelscannotbeburnedinareplacewherethedecorativegasapplianceisinstalled.
8. InordertoinstalltheImperialGasLogSetinthestateofMassachusetts,theCommonwealthofMassachusetts
requirestheexistingreplacedamperberemoved.
