1. Remove spark plug lead.
2. Remove blade bolt and nut (and washer, if applicable) farthest
from engine.
IMPORTANT
NOTE Hardware combination and conguration. New bolt will be
longer than bolt removed from unit.
3. Select identical new bolt/nut/washer combination from kit con-
tents and secure tip guard onto support bar. Install hardware in
original conguration.
IMPORTANT
Bolt must be installed into correct hole in tip guard so that tip
guard does not contact blades and sits at against support bar.
