4. Slide Gear Housing Assembly onto Drive Shaft. Be
certain the Flex Drive Shaft engages the hole in Driver
Gear..
Flat edge of washers (D) must be against drive shaft.
5. Align locating hole in gear housing with locator hole in
drive shaft.
6. Install locating screw (A). Tighten clamping screw (B).
Sharpening Blades
Blades should only be removed and reinstalled by an Authorized ECHO Servicing Dealer, otherwise
premature wear or internal damage may occur.
Level 2.
Hedge Clipper blades are very sharp. Touching them may lead to severe personal injury. Avoid
touching blades whenever possible, and always wear gloves to protect hands.
1. Move stop switch to stop position.
2. Disconnect spark plug wire.
