BEFORE EACH USE
Checkwaterinletscreenfordamage.

Check gun and wand assembly for leaks.
Purge pump of air and contaminants.
Check engine oil level.
PRESSURE WASHER MAINTENANCE
Gheck and Clean Inlet Screen: Remove quick-connect
and examine inlet screen on the female connector.
Clean if it isclogged or replace if it istorn.
Check High Pressure Hose: High pressurehose can
develop leaks from wear, kinking,abuse, inspecthose
each time beforeusingit. Checkfor cuts, leaks, abra-
sionsor bulging ofcover, or damage or movementof
couplings.If any of these conditionsexist, replacehose
immediately.

DANGER: Water spraying from a leak is
capable of Injecting material into skin.
NEVER repair high pressure hose. Replace
with hose that meets minimum pressure rat-
ing of your pressure washer.
ENGINE MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: Disconnect spark plug wire from
spark plug and keep wire away from spark
plug.
CHECKING OIL LEVEL
Oil levelshouldbe checked priorto each use or at least
every 5 hoursof operation. Keep oil level maintained.
CHANGING ENGINE OIL
Change oilafter first 8 hoursof operation.Change oil
every50 hoursthereafter. Ifyou are using your pressure
washer under extremelydirtyor dusty conditions,or in
extremely hot weather, change oil more often.
Change oilwhile engine is stillwarm from running,as
follows:
Before you tip the pressurewasher to drain oil, drain
fuel tank by runningpressurewasher until fuel tank is
empty.
Clean area around oilfill, removeoil fill cap/dipstick.
Wipe dipstickclean.
Tip yourpressurewasher as shownto drain oil com-
pleletyinto a suitable container.When crankcase is
empty, returnthe pressurewasher to its uprightposi-
tion.
Check Detergent Hose: Examine the filteron the deter-
gent hose and clean if clogged. Hose should fittightlyon
barbed fitting.Examine hosefor leaks ortears. Replace
the filter or hose if either isdamaged.
Check Gun and Wand: Examine hose connectionto
gun and make sure itis secure. Test triggerby pressing
itand makingsure itsprings back intoplace when you
release it. Put safety latch in ON positionand test trig-
ger. You shouldnot be able to press trigger.
Purge Pump of Air and Contaminants
To remove the air from the pump, followthese steps:
Set up the pressure washer as described in the
ASSEMBLY section and connect the water supply.
Remove the wand extension from the gun.
Pullthe trigger on the gun and hold.
To remove the contaminantsfrom the pump, follow
these steps:
Set up the pressure washer as described in the
ASSEMBLY section, and connect the water supply.
Remove the nozzle attachment from the gun.
Startthe engine accordingto instructionsin OPERA-
TION section.
Pullthe trigger on the gun and hold.
When the water supplyis steady and constant,
engage the safety latch and refastenthe nozzle
attachment.
Fillengine crankcase with recommended oil untiloil
level is at FULL point on dipstick. Do not overfill
above that mark. About 20 ounces is required. POUR
SLOWLY.

When engine crankcase is filled to proper level,
installand tighten oilcap/dipstick.
