Adjusting the Seat
Toadjustthepositionof the seat,pullup andholdthe seatadjustment
lever.Slidethe seatforwardor rearwardtothe desiredposition;then
releasetheadjustmentlever.Makesureseatislockedintopositionin
a seat-stopbeforeoperatingthetractor.See Figure5.
Beforeoperatingthetractor,makesurethe seatisengagedina
seat-stop.Engagethe parkingbrake.Standbehindthe machineand
pullbackon seatuntilitclicksintoplace.

Gas and Oil
Thefueltankis locatedunderthe hoodandhasa capacityof three
and-a-halfgallons.Removethe fuelcap by turningitcounterclockwise.
Useonlyclean,fresh(no morethan 30daysold),unleadedgasoline.
Do notoverfillthe tank.
Useextremecarewhenhandlinggasoline.Gasolineis extremely
flammableandthe vaporsareexplosive.Neverfuel the machine
indoorsor whilethe engineis hotor running.Extinguishcigarettes,
cigars,pipesandother sourcesofignition.
NOTE:Yourtractorisshippedwithoil in theengine.However,you
MUSTchecktheoil levelbeforeoperating.SeeCheckingtheEngine

Alwayschecktheengineoil levelbeforeeachuseas instructedin
