used and/or is being stored. It should
be “ON” (full counterclockwise posi-
tion) at all times when the Generator
is running.
Recoil Starter Handle (4)6. is used for
starting the Generator.
AC 120 Volt Outlets 7. are used to
power electrical equipment using the

equipment and check the problem

Checking and Filling Engine Oil
CAUTION! Your Warranty is VOID if the
engine’s crankcase is not properly


8. Remove the Oil Filler Cap (Dipstick is
attached), and wipe it off with a clean
rag. See Figure 2.
Reinsert the dipstick completely (do 9.

remove it to check the oil level. The
oil level should be between the high
and low marks on the dipstick.
If the oil level is below the low mark 10.
add the appropriate type of oil until
the oil level is between the high and
the low marks.
Oil type:
32° F or above = SAE 30W
Below 32° F = SAE 10W-30
Inspect “O” Ring condition on the 11.
cap. Replace if damaged or missing.
Replace the Oil Dipstick.12.
CAUTION! Do not run the engine with too
little or too much oil. The engine will
be permanently damaged.
