I also havean HS55. Great machine. If you don't have any luck finding a cable, just keep the old one for measurement and you can make one or have it made.It's not rocket science, but the length of the cable as well as the exact length of the sleeve is critical so its important to have the old one for measurements. If the sleeve is ok, all you need is another good cable from another snowblower or motorcycle, whatever. The ends are generally soldered on, so you can unsolder the tip, cut to the proper length and resolder the end back on. Hope this helps.
