    will not stay running

    Will run for approx. 30 to 45 seconds then dies but will restart and repeat the same process....
    it is the no throttle type.

      I also have the same lawnmower and recently started doing the same thing. I've taken the carborator apart and cleaned it with carb cleaner and refilled the gas tank with clean fresh gass all to no awail.

    • 4.0HP Quattro engine

      The engile does not keep idle steady but goes fast than slow, fast then slow.
      Could it be a burned valve or bad head gasket ?

      i will crank the engine it sounds like its running way to hard it goes back down to normal blows out white smoke from the muffler and dies
