clutch / transmission

Machine runs good in 1st gear and reverse. 2nd and 3rd gear does not work reliably.

  • HS55 drive problem

    I have an HS55 and recently had to replace the friction disc. Part was about $45 and took 2 hours to replace. But it works flawlessly now. As long as you have the unit open you might as well lube and clean everything in sight too. 25 year old snowblowers can really rust a lot. Even a Honda.

    I've a HS55 with the parts missing that go from the lever cables to "whereever". Can you help?? See attached photo. Jim

    I took mine apart and cleaned the splined bar so that the shift collar moves acrosst it. Too much rust. Do you happen to have a service parts manual..I'm missing parts.. Jim
