My drive belt broke. The manula says for me NOT to do it myself, hence they don't give the belt number. I was at Tractor Supply Co. and was lost. I only know the model tractor and engine type. The wall of belts was to confusing and there weren't anough people there to help me.

3 I did change the belt myself after all. Toro gave the names of suppliers in my area and i bought one for about $25. There are 2 belts under there and i needed the smaller less costly one. I can't recall where the pin is though. i will say that it was pretty easy to replace the belt i had to, and if i had to replace the other as well, it would have been just as easy. they are right next to each other. good luck!

1 did you end up changing the drive belt and if so was it difficult to do? I am not sure if I need to change the belt or look for a pin replacement on the drive pedal. the drive pedal has completely gone floppy. do you know where the pin is located? If you could supply a picture of location that would be great! I do not see this in the manual. thanks paul

1 I have now taken a much better look at the drive belt . I have notice the top smaller belt is off its not broken. I do have one question about the positioning of the small belt. There is a double pulley at the back does it go on the top or bottom of the double pulley. Once I do get this on is there a simple way to tighten so it doesn't slip off again or should I just but a new one on incase the old is streched out to much? thanks so much for your help Paul
