I won a stihl ms170 chainsaw at a raffle and don't have a manual. I am having problems starting it. what is the procedure ?

0 Depress the throttle lock and throttle, set the vertical all the way down and while in a proper starting position pull the starter cord, if the machine fires but not run, move the switch up one notch and try again, it should start in 1 to 3 pulls. The chain brake should be engaged as the throttle is wide open and the saw will run fast on startup.
