No reponse from motion control lever

TRACTOR IS NOT MOVING FOWARD OR REVERSE.ENGINE AND DECK BLADES TURN OK WHEN MOTOR IS RUNNING

ANY HINTS ??? HYDROSTATIC TRANSMISSION.

    It's a 1998 model year.
