Pull cord

The cord come all the way out and will not retract back in. I am handy so I would like to try to fix it myself. Any ideas to help me out would be much appreciated.

  • Clean/Lube spring under spool

    If you take apart the main assembly, you'll find a spool that the line feeds from. If you take off the spool, underneath is a spring that normally pulls the line back. It is probably sticking for some reason. I suggest cleaning, lubricating, or even replacing the spring.
