LTH130 clutch won't engage

Last year clutch burned out.
Bought new clutch and installed.
Bought new battery and installed.
Tractor starts up fine, drive fine. But when I pull out the PTO to engage the blades, the blades do not engage (the clutch does not spin). Any ideas?????? Everything else on the mower seems fine.

    I have had this problem and have it again. Yours sounds like a $20 fix with a new PTO switch. They do go bad. I replaced one on a Craftsman tractor and fixed the problem. I now have the problem with a Husqvarna... replaced the PTO switch and it did not fix the problem. I press the break/clutch pedal and it sometimes engages for short runs. I am assuming this is a electric clutch problem. I checked the wiring harness, etc... and everything fine there. Next is the clutch.

    I would in your case go for the PTO switch. I would send you the one I just bought but its only $20 bucks. Good luck.

    Mower died while mowing. Will not start. cleaned carborator and blew out fuel lines. changed fuel filter and fuel pump. still wont start. Any ideas??? Was told by local dealer a common problem with this model is bent rods? Just bought this mower this past April 2009. SO discouraged !!!!
