    I have a troy built pony lawn mower, bought new in
    I have a troy built pony lawn mower, bought new in 2009, used it twice and it stopped on me, won't run. I bought a new battery. It clicks, but won't turn over. Next day, checked and the battery was dead. I can't haul it anywhere to get it fixed. Can it be the spark plug or something simple?

    Moving deck belt
    In the manual it says to engage the PTO at high rpm. I disagree with this method, many forums people are complying about replacing this belt 2 or 3 times a season.

    I engage the the PTO at a lower rpm in a low grass area. My mower is 5 years old and the belt is still like new. This will also save the impact on the springs, idlers, and linkage.
