    Blower to Vac conversion
Vacuum kit instructions say to remove the base of the Blower and pug in a supplied wire, however the bit where the wire is inserted seems to be missing on my BG85. What is the wire supposed to plug into? Is it safe to use the blower as a vac without attaching the wire (seems to work fine)?

Blower seems to blow about 50% speed
Had the same problem after about 10 hours of use. The exhaust port screen is likely clogged with carbon. Remove the exhaust port on the front of the muffler and start the blower. If it revs to full throttle, then the ports the problem. Clean the port with carburetor cleaner and reinstall. If there’s to much build up, get a replacement port from your Stihl dealership.
