pull rope starter diagram
The fingers won't come out to turn the engine when the starter rope is pulled.

Murray Sprint 22" Push Lawn Mower
I do not have a manual and need to know how to drain the used oil.
Do I use 2 cycle or 4 cycle oil.
To remove spark plug do I turn clockwise or counter clockwise.
Appreciate any help on above.

Murray 22 mower won't restart after it is shut off
I have a mower that after using it for sometime in a continual manner of time, when I stop the mower it will not start again. If I let it sit unused for a relative period of time ( 20-30 minutes or longer) , I may be able to start it again. Sometimes I have to wait longer.
I was wondering if there is a shut off sensor on the mower that would not allow it to start after using the mower for at least 30-45 min

pull rope starter
when I pull the pull rope starter - it's very hard to pull. It seems as though it's getting stuck in the middle of the pull. There isnt anything by the blade either

mower wont stay running
every time i start the engin,it runs a few minutes or seconds and then quits.It is a murry convertible 4.5/22 w/briggs and stratton engin.thank you gary d litchfield...garydalel@msn.com

This is the MANUAL - NOT the Instruction Book
The Instruction Book is specific to the ENGINE. The Manual refers you to the "Engine Instruction Book". It is a second manual for the engine(s) alone. This manual posted is another copy of the Mower manual.
