Battery
Both my batteries (It came with 2) when dead only lst 2 mnutes before the charger tells me they're fully charged. Is this a bettery issue or charger issue? I don't have much power (Length of time) before they're dead again BUT I NEVER get a bad battery light form the charger either.

1434 battery
I just purchased a 1434 battery for my 14.4v makita drill. I have a 1410 charger and it does not list the 1434 battery. Will it safely charge by new battery. If not, what is the minimum charger I need.

belt sander not adjusting
Viewing from the top, belt tracks to the left too far. Unable to adjust roller to get belt centered. The belt is sanding the casting og the sander. (model 9903)

after I have removed the set screw in the middle of the chuck I can't get the chuck to unscrew from the body? is it a right hand thread? Can I lock the rotation of the spindle?

Difficult cold start
When starting with the lever in the full choke position,it would start and not stop until the throttle triger is squeezed. What would cause that? Also how do I service the carburetor?

Will not hold charge
the Batteries Light will turn on as in (RED) then dim it self as if losing its charging capabilities any idea's on why this is happening the product is 2 years of age

I think hammer/drill button was not fully engaged in hammer drill setting. Tool smoked and stopped working. Is it salvageable?

drill inoperative
After setting idle for a year, my 6095D does not run. The battery shows a full 9.6 Volt charge but, no action. I've cleaned both battery and drill elect. terminals. Couldn't get the chuck off to inspect further. I have 2 of these drills, both with same symptoms.

Drill bit is stuck

I don't know if something is not set right but wood just seems to stop or plane in jolts leaving evenly spaced marks on the wood and I have to push or pull wood through planer.Any suggestions
