    Dies, then won't start.
Had for less than a year. It has always been hard to start. This year after running it for a full day, it died while cutting then would not start. Air filter not clogged, new spark plug, it just won't start. I tried ether, it started for a few seconds then died again. I had a Poulan for 20 years and…

    Oil
Is there an adjustment screw somewhere that allows me to adjust the amount of oil distributed to the bar?
  • Posted by tkinney on Jul 2nd, 2008 at 9:00am

    doesn't stay running
It starts just fine, but stalls out after about 2-3 seconds. If I try to give it gas it stalls out sooner. It did sit in barn all winter and hadn't run for quite some time and maybe was out of or had very little gas in it. Does this sound like a clogged fuel filter screen?
