Joystick Control
Mower mover faster with joystick in front left position. Middle and right front is slower. Seems to have dead spots in the joystick. Is this the pump on the right or could it be something less expensive

Fuel system problem

mower wont start
my mower wont turn over. ive checked all the fuses and plugs and nothing. it ran fine til i switched the deck belt then it just died. cant believe that the belt would stop it from starting back up. what could it be?

starter
I'm replacing the started and it seems that the teeth from starter and motor set too close when they engage. Should a washer be placed behind start to correct?

Dixon 4423 won't start with key
My 4423 won't start with the key. I have checked the ignition switch, blade switch, brake switch, seat switch, and starter solenoid. All test okay. Anyone have any idea what the problem could be?...it will start if I "hot wire" it with the key on. (jumper wire from battery directly to starter.)

When mower has been running for aprox 1hr.+, when blades are disengaged by switch, clutch will not re-engage. Seems that the circuit is good, switch tests good, but clutch only begins to 'chatter'. Fuel Tanks Problem
Mower dies when fuel level is below level where fuel lines enter saddle tanks. hydrostat slipping
I have an older Scag SSZ 18KH ser. # 30361 with about 2500 hrs. that when you are pulling a small hill it feels like the hydrostat on the left side is bypassing. I have made all the adjustments I know of.
