    Owners manual
    Need an owners manual for craftsman gas lawn edger or a later model similar to this one. Owners manual for this model is out of print. Need help finding it or another craftsman model similar to this one. Found an assembly drawing and parts list on the internet which is helpful but need a manual for product care and maintenance for this model or one similar.

Can You Help With These Problems?

    Stuck Valves
    Opened up the valve cover and found valves were stuck.
    Hard carbon found on surface of valves causing lock-up. One valve had more carbon buildup than the other.
    Cleaned and started the edger after maintenance.

    Now blue smoke comes out the muffler, plenty of power--otherwise works fine.

    Question:
    What's causing it to smoke?

    Anyone--think it needs NEW RINGS and/or NEW VALVES?

    Also very slow oil leak at rear oil drain plug.

    edger wont start has gas and recently replaced spark plug.it worked for one day and now new plug is black

    start the edger
    the rope pulls Ok, the plug appears to be OK and clean but it seems as if the engine is not getting gas. I need an illustration of the engine components to see where the gas line connects on both ends.

    High Speed Poor
    Starts fine, will not run at any speed after starting, worked fine 2 weeks ago. Tried new gas, cleaned carb, etc. Need srevice manual. Thank You

    Wanted: Edge-N-Trim parts and manual
    I've got a like new trimmer with a long (10" spring) that apparently supports the single wheel and arm assembly that helps support the cutter head. I need a replacement spring and a photo of how it is attached on both ends and what other keepers or bushing are needed.
    I think that I'm missing a couple of parts.
