Starting Problems after runing
After runing for several minutes the saw will not start. I have cleaned the carburator and replaced the fuel line. Please advise your thoughts.

Chain oiler will not work on 021. Cleaned oil tank, filter and line from the pump. Blew compressed air thru the oil tank air balance valve. No luck. Ordered new valve from dealer. Any advice?

replacing the chain
To replace the chain on this saw I have to remove 2 nuts and 2 screws and the cover should pop right off. I can't seem to get the cover off. A circular metal object (clutch?) seems to be imbedded in the plastic cover. I don't know if that clutch should be coming off also or what. This shouldn…

i got this saw from a friend. it didn't even run when i got it. now it starts and revs good for about 5 seconds then bog out. i replaced the gas lines, checked the plug, the muffler and the breather. any help would be great

i was told that this chain saw has a vent someware on the gas tank when i whent to sears .com it show me a vent plug ptn .530029868 but the diagram is very poor to tell me where it is , after the saw run & gets very hot , no gas in the fuel line , if you open the gas cap slowly it spits air and gas …

Gas line broke in pieces, & don't remenber how lines went. 2 connectors on primer, 2 on carb. & 2 holes going down to gas tank, also 2 differant size line.

bad oiler
I have a Super XL Auto serial number 42271641 whose auto oiler blows through the oil before a tenth of the gas is used. Worked fine, then one day the problem appeared. Need manual or instructions on how to adjust/repair oiler.

Pull rope gives high resistance. Can't get a pull. Chain moves freely with brake offf; locks properly with brke on. Worked fine when used a month ago.
